The University

Meet The Univer-sity of Toledo, a stu-dent-centered, public metropolitan research university with 23,000 students andmore than 250 programs of study. We’re located in Toledo, Ohio, with a picturesque tree-flledMainCam-pus named one of the most beautiful urban campuses in the nation and a contemporary Health Science Campus designed by world-renowned architect Minoru Yamasaki. We’ve also got a great collection of undergraduate, graduate and professional

programs of study.We have colleges in arts and sciences, business, education, engineering, health science and hu-man service, law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy and our special University College. Some of our nationally ranked programs include engineering, law, and occupational therapy.

We ofer out-of-state student scholarships to help make your education afordable. For example, students who live outside Ohiowith at least a 3.0 high school GPA will get scholarships to waive the out-of-state tuition surcharge.

And our campus has a lot to explore.We have 10 resi-dence halls flledwith comfy rooms, dining facilities, and places to hang out.We have a Student Recreation Center, with sports courts, an indoor track, ftness equipment, and even a pool and water slide. Unlike other schools, our football and basketball teams play right in the heart

of campus in the Glass Bowl and the newly renovated Savage Arena, respectively.

A few miles down the road is our Health Science Campus, home to graduate health programs and the UT Medical Center, the only academic medical center in the region. The hospital is a Level 1 trauma center, ofer-ing innovative treatments for strokes and cancer found nowhere else in the state.

You’ll also enjoy our unique and fun activities. Chanc-es are if you explore UT each day, you’ll fnd at least one art exhibit, one of more than 200 student organizations holding a meeting, one flm screening, or one athletics contest. And once our students graduate, they remain just as active. We have more than 100,000 alumni, with Alumni Association chapters throughout theworld, even as far away as China.
