Adam Salon
Director of Football
Operations
Adam Salon is in his second season as Rockets’ director of football operations. Salon handles most of the non-coaching aspects of the team, includingbudget, travel arrangements and team meals.
Salon has worked with numerous schools at the high school and college levels, most recently as the freshman foot-ball coach/junior varsity lacrosse coach at Southview High School in Sylvania, OH in 2010.
Salon began his coaching career in 1999 at Hamilton
College in Clinton, NY, handling the outside linebackers and safeties, as well as coaching lacrosse.
From 2000-07 Salon coached sophomore football and junior varsity lacrosse at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, IL. He also worked in the fnancial industry during this time.
Salon then returned to the college ranks, serving Bowl-ing Green as a graduate assistant in 2007 and then director of operations in 2008. In 2009, Salon was the ofensive assistant/ quality control coach at Northwestern.
Salon was born in Chicago and grew up in nearby Evan-ston. He played football and lacrosse at Evanston Township High School. He played the same two sports atWabashCollege, earning his bachelor’s degree in 1999.
Salon and his wife Adrienne were married in June of 2012.
Nancy Frazier
Football Secretary
Nancy Frazier has been an employee at the University of Toledo for 27 years. Frazier began working at the University Library in 1985. A year later, she moved to the athletic department and has been there ever since. Frazier’s position began as the secretary for all sports and two associate athletic directors, but she began working strictly with the football program shortly thereafter. She has worked under six head football coaching regimes (Simrell,
Saban, Pinkel, Amstutz, Beckman and Campbell) and handles general ofce operations on a daily basis. In addition, Frazier keeps the head coach’s calendar, greets and provides informa-tion to ofce visitors, supervises ofce student workers, main-tains recruit databases and mailings. While her top priority is to keep the head coach on track, she also performs secretarial duties for nine assistant coaches, as well.
A native of Niles, OH, Frazier earned a bachelor’s degree in ofce administration fromKent State in 1984. She resides in Oregonwithher husbandGreg. They have two children, Ashley (22), a senior volleyball player at theUniversity of Kentucky, and Kyle (17), a senior at Central Catholic High School in Toledo.
David Sankovich
Video Coordinator
David Sankovich is in his frst season as the Rockets’ football video coordinator. His responsibilities include videotaping all Rocket games andpractices, breakingdown game flm, producing highlight videos and
overseeing content management for head coach Matt Camp-bell’s website.
Sankovich worked as assistant video coordinator for the UT football program in the 2011-12 season. He also served as an intern for the Detroit Tigers in the summer of 2012. Sankovich is fromPerrysburg, OH andwill receive his bach-elor’s degree in sports administration fromUT in December. He and his wife Kendra have a daughter, Layla (2).
