Daniel Ift
Graduate Assistant
Daniel Ift is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Rockets. He will work primarily with the ofense. Ift attended Ball State where he was a four-year letterwinner and played wide
receiver on the football team, catching 61 passes and scoring seven touchdowns from2007-10. As a senior in 2010, Ift was the team’s Mark Hays Inspiration Award co-recipient. He graduated from BSU in 2011 with a 3.7 GPA in communication.
Ift grew up in Dover, OH, and was a four-year letterwinner at Dover High School in football and basketball. His father, Dan Ift, is the head football coach at Dover.
Ift resides in Toledo and is engaged to Katelin Terpening.
Bryan Gasser
Graduate Assistant
Bryan Gasser is in his second stint as a graduate assistant coach for the Rockets. He previously worked as a GA at UT in 2010. He will work primarily with the tight ends. Last season, Gasser coached the wide receivers and was co-ofensive coordinator at Notre Dame College, a Divsion II school in South Euclid, OH.
Gasser helped the Falcons set records in scoring, yards per game and passing yards per game.
Gasser played football at Ohio Northern University from 2003-05, earning All-OAC and Academic All-OAC honors at tight end in 2005. He then served as an assistant coach at his alma mater from2006-08, workingwith tight ends and running backs. He coached three All-OAC players in his three seasons at ONU. In 2009, Gasser served as the ofensive line/special teams coach at Otsego High School.

Nate Cole
Graduate Assistant
Nate Cole is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Rockets. He will work primarily with the ofensive line this season.
Cole earned four letters at UT from 2007-10. He played in 39 games at right guard during his career, starting 32, including every contest in his junior and senior seasons.
A native of Dayton, OH, Cole attended Trotwood Madison High School, where he was an all-league defensive tackle. Cole earned his bachelor’s degree in communication from UT in 2011.
the Bowling Green football program from 2007-10, earning his bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2011. In 2011 he coached outside linebackers at Lindsey Wilson College (KY). Brabenec attended Olmsted Falls High School (OH) where he played football and baseball.
