Game Notes

Weather at Kickof: 55 degrees, mostly cloudy, winds gusting to 35 mph. • Senior Morgan Williams rushed for 136 yards with three touchdowns and the injury-riddled Rocket defense came up big twice inside the red zone as Toledo defeated arch-rival Bowling Green.

• After trailing 7-0 at halftime, Toledo dominated the second half, scoring four times on rushing TDs and racking up 201 yards on the ground. But the game belonged to the Rocket defense, which made a heroic stand on fourth-and-one from the UT six-yard line with UT holding a 21-14 lead. Junior DE Danny Farr wrapped up Anthon Samuel for a one-yard loss to give UT the ball with 4:25 to play.

• A late BG TD of a kick return cut the lead to seven, but the ensuing kickof went out-of-bounds, securing the UT victory.
